Welcome to the Network

From its humble beginnings in a small office working solely on one project (Women's Friendship Group), Apni Zaroorat Community Network is a steadily developing voluntary organisation based in Lye, near Stourbridge in the borough of Dudley.

Whilst working on our initial project, our consultations highlighted the needs of women and their families. We found that women were disadvantaged because of cultural, social and economic barriers and this in turn was affecting the future of their families.

As a result of this, we are developing a variety of different services and by providing advice, information and signposting to other organisations, we’re improving the lives of these families. The steadily increasing demand for our support means that we are not only helping people within the Dudley borough, we’re also receiving enquiries from Birmingham and other the Black Country boroughs.
